“Delicious” Thai Evening raised £550
7th March 2011
A Thai evening full of varied culinary delights was recently held to raise money for the Cheshire and North Wales Human Milk Bank Appeal.
Hosted by Lisa Jones, the event was a fun social evening aimed at bringing people together, spicing up a cold damp February whilst raising money for the Human Milk Analyser project.
Renowned Thai cookery teacher, Manida, prepared a selection of Thai starters, followed by three delicious curries, and tropical fruit for dessert. Lynda Coulter gave an informative presentation on the work of the Milk Bank and updated us on the latest efforts to raise money for the Human Milk Analyser project. A raffle was also held and a total of £550 was raised.
The evening was a great success, good fun and a big ‘Thank you’ to all those who attended, donated prizes, and contributed to the evening, in particular Manida for generously giving her time and preparing such a delicious variety of food.
